Uncle Moe

The First Day of Spring

Ahh, Spring is upon us, the temerpature might get to 70 today, I'm going running a little later, and Uncle Moe had band practice last night.  I'm learning how to play the electric guitar now.  Usually, as a children's entertainer I play the acoustic guitar.  When I play at libraries or kids parties, the acoustic is what I play.  But Uncle Moe likes to rock every now and then too.   I might start incorporating the electric into Uncle Moe's full band shows.

I also started a new project.  Uncle Moe is hoping to become an author.  I wrote a children's book and am just now looking into some self publishing options as well as starting to search for an illustrator - someone that can create some real nice art for children's literature.   The book is about a boy that loves music; something Uncle Moe knows a lot about.   Well I'm off for now, time to go outside and play on such a beautiful Spring afternoon.

Spring is in the Air

Well the warm weather is starting to creep up on us.  Uncle Moe was out this weekend cleaning up some leaves and sticks and trying to think of new songs.  We're gearing up for some shows now that Spring and Summer are getting closer.  We have shows booked for Norwell, Burlington, and Halifax and are looking forward to many many more shows.  Tell your librarian, camp counselor, or teacher that you want Uncle Moe to play for you.  Uncle Moe would like to give a big shout out to Nephew Scott.  My youngest nephew was the star of his school play last week.  He was Charlie, in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and he was just great.  Uncle Moe couldn't have been more proud.  I brought the whole family to see him and he sang and danced and did a tremendous job.  Well, that's all for now, I think I'm going to go write a song about candy, mmmmm candy.
