http://uncle-moe.com/blog.cfm Sat, 20 Mar 2010 22:03:51 GMT http://bandzoogle.com http://uncle-moe.com/blog.cfm?feature=1162605&postid=209089 Ahh, Spring is upon us, the temerpature might get to 70 today, I'm going running a little later, and Uncle Moe had band practice last night.  I'm learning how to play the electric guitar now.  Usually, as a children's entertainer I play the acoustic guitar.  When I play at libraries or kids parties, the acoustic is what I play.  But Uncle Moe likes to rock every now and then too.   I might start incorporating the electric into Uncle Moe's full band shows.    I also started a new project.  Uncle Moe is hoping to become an author.  I wrote a children's book and am just now looking into some self publishing options as well as starting to search for an illustrator - someone that can create some real nice art for children's literature.   The book is about a boy that loves music; something Uncle Moe knows a lot about.   Well I'm off for now, time to go outside and play on such a beautiful Spring afternoon. ]]> Sat, 20 Mar 2010 22:03:51 GMT 2D69A4EB9B14FE92F63CD3F55CD472A8 http://uncle-moe.com/blog.cfm?feature=1162605&postid=204571 Well the warm weather is starting to creep up on us.&nbsp; Uncle Moe was out this weekend cleaning up some leaves and sticks and trying to think of new songs.&nbsp; We're gearing up for some shows now that Spring and Summer are getting closer.&nbsp; We have shows booked for Norwell, Burlington, and Halifax and are looking forward to many many more shows.&nbsp; Tell your librarian, camp counselor, or teacher that you want Uncle Moe to play for you.&nbsp; Uncle Moe would like to give a big shout out to Nephew Scott.&nbsp; My youngest nephew was the star of his school play last week.&nbsp; He was Charlie, in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and he was just great.&nbsp; Uncle Moe couldn't have been more proud.&nbsp; I brought the whole family to see him and he sang and danced and did a tremendous job.&nbsp; Well, that's all for now, I think I'm going to go write a song about candy, mmmmm candy.
